Overview:

The HR Coordinator will support and assist the HR Manager for the GAS region across the different businesses in these countries. The role is truly varied in nature and is responsible for delivering first class employee administration, operational and systems support to employees. This role is the first point of contact for all HR related queries and will be accountable for ensuring that all HR administration and enquiries are addressed in a professional, efficient, timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting and Onboarding

Prepare job descriptions for open positions and post open jobs via nbcunicareers.comProcess new hires in SAPEnsure virtual setup is complete for all new employees including phones, workspaces and computers.Manage all onboarding activitiesTrack and capture all visa and immigration related documentationPartner with Talent Acquisition and prepare the system (“SmartRecruiters”) to post new roles, prepare job description and initiate background checks

HR Processes

Process all monthly payroll changes, including starters and leavers, and work closely with payroll to ensure they have up to date and accurate informationProcess any system data changes, workflows & paperwork for life cycle events such as promotions and transfers, liaising with HR Operations where needed to ensure correct processingCreate and maintain Archive of HR Admin documentation incl. HR folderOrganize, conduct and maintain data on leavers and offboarding incl. exit interviewsAccurately maintain and update employee database (SAP and myHR) and any other HR systems as requiredMaintain and update all HR email distribution lists, organisational charts, as well as relevant staff contact listsAssist in any program rollouts (i.e. performance review process, talent review, salary planning, benefits open enrolment, early careers programs, trainings, annual declarations, etc.)Admister local HR policies, assist with development and launchMaintain clear and accurate employee records and create presentationsSupport Global Mobility in managing internal and external relocations, and remote working requestsUse HR systems to provide accurate reports and data to HR business partners and business leadersAdmister invoice payments (incl. vendor management) and contract signing process

Reporting and Administration

Run/generate monthly and ad hoc employee data reportsPlan logistics for employee meetings, trainings, roundtables, including room reservations and technology set-upOrganise and maintain the filing system for current staff and leavers

Client Services

Provide support on routine queries from clients including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, holiday, sick leave, employee reference requests or redirect clients to appropriate contactsProvide support for all questions regarding social security, health insurance, payroll taxation in liaise with designated international payroll specialists as well as for compensation & benefits mattersDeliver high client service by offering solutions and effectively problem-solving questions or concerns raised by clientsAct as the primary liaison with several HR departments, in order to manage and resolve day to day employee issues

Employee Engagement

Provide support on designing and organizing Employee Engagement initiatives in alignment with the Engagement NBCU strategy in partnership with international Engagement and HR teams.Act as an ambassador of our NBCU inclusive culture, providing also support on organizing DEI initiatives in collaboration with the local DEI committee in partnership with international DEI and HR teams.

Qualifications

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You will be a HR Coordinator with proven operational HR experience for the GAS region - ideally you have gained your experience in the payroll department or at the interface to it and now want to learn more about Human Resources priorities in an international Media CompanyYou will have:A good working knowledge of HR practices and procedures, preferably within a large, matrix organisationExperience of undertaking transactional HR administrative work, including data entry into HR systems and creating paperwork where attention to detail is essentialSolid working knowledge of HR systems and ability to produce and analyze reportsMid to advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel (ability to process data, create pivot tables, charts and formulas) and solid knowledge of Power Point and Word.Experience with SAP HR application
