The Role

As a Stillyard Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of raw materials within our manufacturing facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring that production lines are continuously supplied with the necessary materials, contributing to the smooth operation of the plant.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely receive, unload, and store raw materials in designated areas. Supply production lines with the appropriate materials according to production schedules. Inspect raw materials for quality and report any discrepancies or damages. Assist in loading and unloading trucks as required. Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations. Assist with unloading inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report any visual and all Quality related issues to Supervisor. Performing picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service. Perform forklift daily inspections and record status of each inspection for each shift. Report any issues or damage of the forklift. Perform housekeeping duties as assigned in the warehouse area including but not limited to maintaining zag row, rework of damage pallets, restocking sample area, organizing accessory area, sweeping and painting of warehouse storage areas. Conduct inventories of samples, finished product and other warehouse materials – will also participate in actual physical counts of entire finished product warehouse and yard or cycle counts as assigned. Use of warehouse computer systems for various position functions – product look-up, paperwork etc. Report all EH&S incidents – Injuries/Recordables, Near Misses, First Aid, Environmental and Property/Equipment Damage. Ensure adherence to Waste Management and Recycling responsibilities. Participate in Incident & Near Miss Investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
