The Opportunity:
Seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates to join a high-performance team and provide support as a Special Technical Operations (STO) Planner. As a STO Planner, you will support the development of plans through the application of operational art and operational design in conjunction with the joint planning process.
Responsibilities:
• Provide expertise in Special Technical Operations (STO) planning to meet mission objectives. Planning activities include those activities required to support the execution of deliberate, crisis and special operations plans supporting the major Combatant Commands and Theater Special Operations Commands.
• Support the development of plans through the application of operational art and operational design in conjunction with the joint planning process. Provide mission analysis, develop courses of action (COA) and COA analysis, assist with COA wargaming, and the drafting, coordination, and approval of contingency plans.
• Support the analysis, development, and integration of adversary-specific details in support plans and Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
• Participate in the development of emerging technology planning products for incorporation into the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) process.
• Travel – Position will require CONUS and OCONUS travel
Qualifications:
Required: Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline. May have broad knowledge of project management. Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work. Active TS//SCI clearance.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
