This position is 100% onsite at our Bohemia, NY office.
This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a Department of State or Department of Commerce License.
Position Summary:
PDC is currently seeking aStock Clerk Ato join it-s growing team. TheStock Clerk Ais a senior-level role responsible for advanced inventory management, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of stockroom processes. This role handles complex inventory tasks and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Key Position Accountabilities:
+ Oversee and maintain inventory accuracy by leading cycle counts and ensuring compliance with stockroom SOPs.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for inventory processes, providing guidance to Stock Clerks B and C.
+ Collaborate with Material Planners and Management to address inventory challenges and improve workflow efficiency.
+ Process high-priority Engineering Actions and manage time-sensitive materials, ensuring timely updates to inventory records.
+ Monitor and resolve discrepancies in stock records and escalate unresolved issues to management.
+ Prepare and release complex kits for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Outsource Suppliers.
Qualifications:
+ Required:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 5+ years of inventory management or related experience.
+ Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
+ Desired Characteristics:
+ Ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
+ Proficiency with advanced inventory management software.
+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
