Skookum is seeking a dedicated and driven Stock Clerk with a helpful attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Ensures all actions are entered correctly and completely, as outlined in current policies & procedures
Maintain supply records that properly account for all SRA material and stock
May issue building keys to staffing per key control procedure
Receives and issues Tools/Equipment and assist with updating inventory records through Maximo
Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, utilizing material handling equipment (MHE)
Receive, store and issue material IAW policies, procedures and guidelines
Examines material received, verifies part numbers and checks discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts
Oversee day to day supply operations
Inspects and evaluates inventory management activities
May construct fiberboard or wooden containers. Packs, crates, stencils, weighs and bands parts and supplies
Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.
May oversee loading, unloading, segregation, dunnage, palletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas
Will perform visual inspection of, minor repair, preservation and packing of materials.
Drives vehicle to outlining areas to check status of orders or to deliver materials or parts, as needed
Qualifications:
6 months of experience and possess knowledge of the governing supply regulations, supply related automated information systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals and/or other established guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
