Stock Management
Perform stock taking duties in order to keep record of the stock or inventory levels and note order requirements
Records stock levels for all items and updates database for each resource category to ensure effective material tracking that support inventory control in planning and minimize delays
Processes and / or approves material requisition / move order for issue from stock as per the established procedure
Prepare SAP system and manual reports in order to ensure that managers have the relevant information needed to support decision-making
Liaise with procurement buyers and logistics personnel for follow up for purchase requisition, purchase order and cargo delivery
Maintain all data, records and documentation for purchased items, using appropriate filing and data retrieval systems, in order to ensure ease of access to up to date information at all times

Qualifications
High school diploma

Experience
3 years experience in stock control for a steel company

Skills
Good computer skills – SAP and Microsoft Office user
Detailed understanding of the relevant warehousing process and its importance to the overall operation of the company
Detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems and ERP
