As an Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer care through the daily settlement of Fixed Income Securities. As part of Global Operations team you will contribute to a center-of-excellence to help drive operating efficiencies and improve future scalability.
What will you do?
Settlement of US Fixed Income Products
Handle all trade exceptions on a timely basis
Take ownership of inquiries, deliver on commitments, and ask for support as needed
Support customer inquiries
Ensure compliance of all department procedures and policies
Ensure a professional work ethic across all business lines
Resolve conflicts/issues and escalates to management as appropriate
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Post-secondary degree, preferable in a business related field
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a time-sensitive environment
Working on Canadian statutory holidays is required. Time in lieu will be provided
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge of Fixed Income settlements (DTCC in particular).
Experience with ADP/Broadridge related functions an asset.
Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
