Overview

The Stock Loan desk at Susquehanna manages the borrowing and lending of securities to facilitate the activity on our trading desks. This position provides exposure to how Susquehanna manages firm-wide risk, and is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skills and overall financial products knowledge.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Communicating with counterparties about current loans of stockEnsuring settlement of stock loan transactionsTracking and correcting trade breaksRunning macros that update data used in profit and loss reportsHelping the desk to support a team of traders for all operational issues
What we're looking for
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and AccessPrior experience with VBA and SQL a plusStrong communication skills (oral and written); ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external vendorsDetail oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentMust be a self starter, a quick learner, and resourceful in solving problemsPrevious experience in the financial services industry or completion of finance- or investment-related coursework a plusProbability and Statistics background a plusVisa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
