Position Summary:
As a Stock Optimization Coordinator, you will be responsible for analyzing velocity reports/data to effectively resolve slotting issues, minimize number of replenishments, and increase productivity. This position is also responsible for designating correct slotting locations to optimize the efficiency of picking orders by increasing pick density and reducing unnecessary tasks and movement.
Your Shift:
Monday through Friday, 9:30AM-6:00PM
Overtime as needed.

+ Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities
+ Competency using computers and the full Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Power point)
+ In-depth knowledge of dental merchandise and technical terms preferred
Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?
+ Requires ability to interface between DC leadership, Associates, and Inventory Control professionally and effectively
+ Performs other duties assigned to best serve Benco-s internal and external customers
+ Ensures that all products are located in appropriate pick slots in the correct zone (Bulk, Flow Mezz)
+ Ensures that all product is ergonomically slotted to reduce personal injury and/or product damage. (No heavy product above waist height)
+ This position works to find solutions to slotting inefficiencies by analyzing data with various spreadsheet/software applications
+ Monitor Stock/Non-Stock reports to slot new items before they are received to reduce NS
+ Review all NBL inventory and see what can be slotted
+ Inspects all pick slots for inventory accuracy and maintains pick slot integrity including Min-Max and Cubi-Scan
+ Initiates and coordinates the set-up of slotting new items. Analyzes slot and product dimension requirements to ensure correct set up
+ Reports inventory adjustments to Inventory Control department in a timely manner.
+ Identify and separate "like items" to reduce the possibility of mis-pick and mis-delivery of product to customers
+ Records empty locations and other related information for future use
+ Slotting coordinator routinely reviews effectiveness of slot location movement by creating and maintaining a monthly rotation plan for all zones
+ Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed. Secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork at end of shift
+ This role will function as a team member within the Processing Area and across functions, as required
+ Monthly feedback from associates to monitor results and suggestions

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?
+ 1-2 years Slotting, Picking, Inventory Control or other related DC experience
+ Physical:
+ Able to move/lift 50 lbs. unassisted
+ Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
+ Position spends 100% amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing
+ Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
