Qualifications
A High School diploma or the equivalent is requiredA valid motor vehicle driver's license with a proven safe driving record is requiredThe ability to obtain a CDL-B driver's license and a fork truck driver's license is also requiredOther requirements include: mechanical aptitude, manual and finger dexterity, the ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and learn various computer systems, including MAXIMOPhysical requirements include the ability to: push/pull 50 to 100 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbsBenefits
The salary range for this position starts at Step 1 ($31.86) and progresses in accordance with the union contractResponsibilities
The Stockhandler orders, receives, records, stores, prepackages, issues, and maintains adequate stock of material, equipment and supplies in the substation maintenance storeroomIn addition, the employee may deliver materials to field locations and prepare materials for specific jobsOther duties include assisting with environmental issues, maintaining shop and yard cleanliness, performing weekly material inventories, and other duties as assignedNormal working hours for this position will be from 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday unless otherwise assignedIndividual filling this position will be expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime and will have storm restoration and emergency assignmentsResponding to emergency situations to meet customers' needs is part of every employee's roleIf employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignmentThis means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and locationWorker Type:
