A great candidate would have NAS administration experience, have a working knowledge of enterprise grade backup and recovery software (NetBackup experience a plus), and be familiar with the operation and maintenance of tape libraries (Quantum and SpectraLogic experience a plus). An outstanding candidate would also have familiarity with DDN, IBM Scale, NetApp, SAN/NAS architecture, Python and bash scripting, and backend SAN architectures (Fibrechannel, Brocade, eSAS). Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Perform storage administration tasks such as system deployment, data and volume management, managing user/group, security permissions, group policies, storage networking, and scheduling backups. Create, update, and support documentation of guidelines, procedures, standards, and controls. Monitor storage health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise. Architect, implement, and maintain storage and backup solutions that meet customer needs. Ensure high availability of storage access to end users.
