The Storage Footprint supporting the Oracle Health IES Infrastructure consists of a huge footprint managing storage spanning over 26 Datacenters, over 550 Storage arrays, more than 2800 fabric switches and a surplus of over 260PB of storage capacity.

The Storage Engineer II position within Oracle Cerner IES organization is responsible for managing our Storage Area Network in support of our solutions and services. This position requires a thorough knowledge of SAN fabric protocols, SAN routing and zoning configuration, Brocade Switches, HP(3PAR, XP8), Dell EMC and NetApp storage systems, and various SAN management solutions. The primary function of this position is to implement and manage SAN hardware and software serving storage to a heterogeneous environment consisting of Windows, Linux, and various UNIX operating systems.
