Job Description

Receiving Officer : 

Ensuring proper authorization for all goods entering the hotel.Inspecting all incoming goods to ensure that quantity, quality, price and all the other specifications are adhered to.Ensure that all documents and material received are satisfactory quality.Record shortages and reject damaged items, responsible for monitoring the returns process.Coordinate with departments and suppliers, if items don't arrive when expected.Prepare daily receiving report summaries and report on any variances immediately.To check and input Food and Beverage and General store purchase into the hotel inventory system.To ensure the goods are secured and prompt transfer.To ensure that goods in the receiving area are secure at all times.To ensure that Occupational Health and safety requirements are observed, maintained and enforced.Participate in taking inventory, maintain storage area, organize and place stock    on shelves, ensures area is secure at all times.Assist Storekeeper for issuance during the operation, assist with input onto the stores computer and occasionally placing purchase orders on the instruction of the Storekeeper or handling the store in his absence.

Storekeeper:
 

Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the companyMaintain a neat, clean and safe working environment as per government regulationManage the store layoutSupervise other staff members and keep a record of salesReceive, upload and shelf all suppliesPerform stock related duties like returning, packing, labelling and pricing goodsInspect delivers for discrepancy or damageReport damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursementRotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantitiesCoordinate and handle freight and movement of equipmentKeep an organised allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and storeCross-verify the monthly report at the end of each monthEnsure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchaseGenerate a material received report (MRR) timelyEnsure storage of goods follow the first in first out (FIFO) method

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of experience.

Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
