SUMMARY
The Ace Store Director is responsible for ensuring superior customer service in their store. They must develop Associates at all levels, drive sales and profitability, and maintain effective expense and payroll budget management. They will also ensure compliance with effective inventory management and merchandising practices and all store policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly. Hires, trains and develops retail staff with goals for growth and success in their positions, provides performance feedback and recognizes accomplishments. Performs bookkeeping and payroll functionsControls shrink, expenses and laborCoordinates the overall supervision of retail staff to ensure sales performance goals are met and procedures are followed accuratelyRegulates retail inventory to reduce shrinkage, maintains appropriate stock levels and ensures report accuracyDirects the shipping, receiving and inventory flow for the storeForecasts scheduling needs to meet customer demand and creates work schedulesDelegates daily workload among Associates to meet merchandising and visual presentation standardsAware of competition activity and report results: shares information with supervisor and makes appropriate recommendationsEnsures compliance with all laws, policies and procedures.Follows all ACE programs/promotionsActs as Niemann Foods representative within the store and communityEnforces safety policies and procedures; is a safety role modelOther duties as assigned by supervisor
