Job Description

Responsibilities:

Automotive Store Manager:

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience. This role included additional incentive's

Lead and develop store team to deliver exceptional customer serviceDrive sales performance and maximize product knowledgeManage store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory controlOversee technical aspects and assist with services/repairsMaintain store appearance and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulationsBuild customer relationships and address all customer needsMaintain technical proficiency through required training

Automotive Assistant Manager:

Pay: $17-$20 per hour. Pay is based on experience. This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Store Manager on operations of the store and decisions of hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and terminating employees.Support automotive technicians in establishing and maintaining productive sales environment by training and developing teammates on all shop operations and guest services.Assist with scheduling employees, completing timecards, and assigning work to Lube and Tire technicians.Performs duties of automotive technician when needed.Attends meetings and clinics to maintain current knowledge of tools, parts, and repairs.

Automotive Technician:

Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairsComplete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process on every customer vehicleAssist in inventory management and general store dutiesPerform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards and proceduresTest drive vehicles following company policy and local traffic lawsMaintain technical knowledge through required Monro University trainingOperate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Based on experience $25 - $35 Flat Rate. - Based on experience

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Automotive Store Manager

High School Diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)Proven leadership experience in retail/sales environmentDemonstrated ability to manage finances, drive results, and control costsStrong problem-solving and inventory management skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesProficiency in multi-tasking and adapting to a fast-paced environmentAbility to mentor, coach, and develop team membersWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform various movements required in an automotive shop environment

Automotive Assistant Manager

High school or GED equivalent.2+ years of automotive and sales experienceValid Driver LicenseAbility to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.Excellent communication skills and basic algebra to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, and percentages.Guest and team focused mindset

Automotive Technician 

High School Diploma or equivalent.   

Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.   

ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred.  

Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and have the ability to operate customer’s vehicles to conduct test drives. 

Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
