Store Manager
Description Looking for someone who is going to come in and lead the boat, someone with management experience in a retail or applianc setting. They will be leading the day-to-day operations of the store. Schedule: A general work week would be from 9am to 7pm with a one hour lunch break, five days a week. Managers typically get Tuesday off along with a weekend day. Training: travelling to the Saginaw and Pontiac branch to train a few days per week, will be reimbursed mileage. Direct Reports you will oversee 2 assistant managers, 8 sales reps, 2 office assistants, 2 stockers, and 2 finance associates Job Duties: - Store manager will open the store every day, run delivery reports, run morning meeting to set goals for the day - Lead, coach, and mentor sales team - Accountable for team performance and reaching quota goals - Interact with Customers and Sales team - should have product knowledge as they will be selling at times - Responsible for meeting and exceeding personal sales goal and ensuring sales team meets sales goals. - Customer service oriented; able to problem solve customer concerns; able to mentor team to be customer service and sales oriented. - Responsible for initiating and participating in continuous improvement activities for their assigned Store and Company. - Complete required weekly, monthly and annual reporting as required via Excel, Access, etc. - Participate and/or facilitate meetings with Advertising staff and/or collaborating and contributing with upper management in executing and achieving company’s strategic goals - Responsible for driving good morale with employees Personality Traits: • Teamwork- able to collaborate with others within the department and/or with other individuals/departments across the company. • Judgment- able to make reasonable decisions without putting the department and/or company at risk. Additional Skills & Qualifications Sales Leadership and Business Performance - Drive Store Sales and profitability through effective sales strategies and customer engagement - Monitor GRQ reports daily to ensure the store meets and/or exceeds profit targets - Ensure effective use of financing options to increase sales volume and customer affordability - Lead by example by actively engaging in sales, coaching employees on upselling, financing, and product knowledge - Implement company sales training programs and conduct regular sales meetings Team Development & Leadership - Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team that aligns with company values and objectives - Conduct morning meetings to review store performance, upcoming promotions, and coaching needs - Provide ongoing training and development, ensuring employees understand store processes, financing options, and customer service best practices - Foster a positive and structured work environment through leadership, teamwork, and accountability.
