Store Operations Omni Channel Specialist
Job Summary: The Store Operations Omni Specialist is responsible for leading our retail Stores towards process improvement, clear project management and delivering results of all Omni Channel operations. This position will perform analysis to identify operational issues or areas for improvement, plan and execute project management, and support the implementation of business solutions by leading in collaboration across all areas of the organization. This position is also to be available for daily Store and Field Leader support through operational, and systematic processes/issues. Primary Responsibilities: Key Responsibility #1 • Identification, planning, and implementation of OMNI channel process improvement efficiencies, lead projects, strategic initiatives, and business solutions. This includes but is not limited to performance strategy implementation, daily process efficiencies, technology projects, manage projects, and SG&A improvements. Key Responsibility #2 • Reporting, analyzing, driving performance and execution of all Omni processes including order fulfillment, mobile POS, endless aisle, and all other Omni Channel processes. Key Responsibility #3 • Works with cross functional Teams and Store Operations partners in improvement and development of Standard Operating procedures, resource documentation, and Omni Channel operations. Key Responsibility #4 • Clear communications to Stores, Field Leadership, Executives, and Support Teams through business and communications tools such as the bulletin task management, meetings, company intranet, email and chats. Education, Experience & Skills: Minimum education required/preferred, area of study: • Bachelor Degree a plus Minimum years of relevant experience required: • 5+ years relevant experience in a retail environment preferred OR experience in training or project management required. Additional skills/knowledge required include: • Effective time management and organization skills • Detail-oriented: ability to get into details to the level of specific tasks and timing • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team environment • Ability to effectively work with people at all levels inside and outside of the company • Adaptability to change and adjustment of priorities as needed • Creative ability and writing proficiency Special certification(s) or technical skill(s) required: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Project Management Tools Preferred experience, certification(s), skill(s), if applicable: • West Marine retail Store management or operations experience a plus but not required
