About the role
Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Store Person to join our team at Babcock’s new state-of-the-art facility in Woodville North. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our Defence operations and ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse activities.
As a Store Person, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, storing, and managing inventory. You will also utilise Material Handling Equipment to load and unload vehicles, ensuring products and materials are accurately stored and accounted for. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records through data entry into our ERP system.
Collaboration will be key in this position, as you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of goods and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also help ensure that plant equipment is inspected according to work instructions, participate in ongoing staff training, and support the delivery of goods in line with National Heavy Vehicle Regulator legislation.
