The Store Planner will work directly with Batteries Plus franchise owners and corporate store district managers to provide key support to the store build-out and opening processes. The Store Planner will guide franchisees and corporate store representatives with adhering to system guidelines and compliance, while also acting as a communication liaison between franchise owners and corporate staff.\n

Responsibilities:\n

Store Design\n\nCoordinate with franchisees, internal teams and vendors for planning new store and retrofit projects
\nSupport the development of layouts that promote product presentation and a consistent design for stores
\nParticipate in the planning and execution for build outs, retrofits, and other steps in the store design process
\nEnsure brand standards are maintained throughout the process
\nMaintains an accurate library of all construction drawings, finishes, and notes
\nParticipate in marketing and on-going review of the store programs\n\n

Order Management\n\nPlace orders for fixtures, inventory & equipment
\nCoordinate store fixture program
\nMonitor delivery of orders\n\n

Project Administration\n\nCoordinate project plans, engage necessary resources, provide periodic status reports
\nMaintain a schedule for all store initial setups as well as 30, 60, and 90-day check ins
\nMaintain a store exceptions database to control deviations
\nAssist in the distribution of monthly reports
\nProactively communicate issues and challenges\n\n

Qualifications:\n\n1 year retail\/merchandising experience\n\n

Preferred Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's Degree in Design, Business, Communications, PMP Certification or related field \nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google applications, Visio, Excel proficiency\nProcess oriented with good project management skills; capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously\nAbility to calculate simple math, percents, ratios, area and measurement\n\n
