At Ventia, we’re proud to support the Australian Defence Force with essential clothing services. You will be a key member of our stores and warehousing team in supporting Ventia’s Defence National Clothing Store Services contract in Enoggera, QLD. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic team player with a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
Your role will involve:
Greeting and assisting customers at the store's counter
Using computer systems to process orders, update inventory, and manage transactions accurately
Receiving, checking, and acquitting stock under supervision
Packing stock and preparing it for dispatch
Inspecting and accepting returned items
Performing manual handling using various methods
Key skills & Attributes
Previous experience in customer service, warehouse, or retail roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude
Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems to process transactions and update stock records
Ability to work effectively in a team and customer service environment
High attention to detail and strong time management skills
