Drives sales and service through goal setting, coaching, motivating/inspiring, development, and follow-up and recognition.
Personally prospect for new business on a weekly basis and follows up on staff's prospecting performance.
Use product information and design knowledge to demonstrate and explain merchandise features/benefits to staff and customers.
Help customers in a courteous, knowledgeable and genuinely interested manner while holding the staff to the same set of expectations.
Suggests additional items based on assessing customer's needs; trains, coaches and recognizes staff members to do the same.
Closes the sale, writes a quote and follows up with customer; helps staff to meet the same standard.
Additionally communicate with other store's GM, handle all merchandise returns and customer problems/complaints in a positive manner, and enter customer orders according to company procedures.
Assist staff members to resolve all customer service issues, and communicate to Supervisor
Achieves Store Sales Goals:
Leads sales efforts to achieve Store profit goals.
Communicate goals and actual sales to staff regularly.
Partner with Supervisor to help overcome obstacles when goals are not being met.
Holds self and staff accountable for personal goals. Ensure Store represents the best in design through presentation and house keeping.
Maximizes sales and profitability through interpretation of visual goals and directives (regular, promotional, etc.) to create a strong visual impact.
Execute all company directives on time
Prepare for and executes inventories on time.
Meet all administrative deadlines; maintain proper files and records.
Loss prevention : Addresses and resolves all internal/external loss prevention and safety situations promptly.
Train and coaches' staff on loss prevention and safety situations.
Staff Development: grow a strong sales staff
Conduct regular recruiting activities and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openings.
Ongoing training of current staff.
Holds staff accountable to personal/store goals.
Provide consistent communication regarding personal performance.
Shares company information and direction that will help advance staff and store performance.
Work environment/staff development, maintains a positive and productive work environment.
Daily coaching, regular open communication, good humor, and positive associate relations
Shares responsibility for own personal development through regular communications with the Area Manager.
