Job Title: Storeroom Assistant or Storekeeper

Work Place Flexibility: Onsite

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Under directive supervision must be willing and able to generally assist in the efficient operation of storeroom, issue and/or receive and properly store or arrange for delivery to proper locations of all materials passing through storeroom, do inventory work, assist in maintaining storeroom records, operate equipment for handling material, and do related work as assigned.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. No previous experience necessary.

2. Be willing and able to qualify for automobile and truck operator's license.

3. Know Storekeeping procedure and be familiar with all records maintained in the storeroom.

4. Know materials and be able to identify same by type, size, serial number, etc.

5. Must know and practice Company's applicable safety rules.

6. Know location of firefighting equipment and the proper location and use of various types.

 

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be willing and able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

1. Be energetic and alert.

2. Be willing and able to work under unusual surroundings, as well as the normal working conditions pertaining to this job.
