Storeroom Clerk (Start Date No Earlier Than February 17, 2025)

Position Start Date No Earlier Than February 17, 2025

Preferred Qualifications:  

English language communications required.  

Excellent customer service skills.  

Proficient knowledge of computer software to include inventory control and Microsoft Excel.  

Previous warehouse/receiving experience required.  

Requires full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.  

Responsibilities:  

Performs receiving activities according to accepted procedures, verifies receipt of materials and supplies as specified on purchase order documents.  

Ability to stand, stoop, bend; lift and carry up to 50 plus pounds.  

Notifies Storeroom Supervisor and Purchasing of any receiving related discrepancies, to facilitate request for credit or replacement or damaged or discrepant goods.  

Transports materials to appropriate storage area in a timely manner.  

Ensure proper dating, tagging of all food products, materials placed into storeroom.  

Adheres to all food safety and sanitation requirements.  

Performs all operations necessary to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the receiving area.  

Completes computerized receiving reports and transmits receiving documentation.

Maintains organized purchase order and receiving documentation files.  

Assists in the performance of monthly/quarterly/annual inventories.  

Other duties as assigned.
