Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and administratively savvy Event Coordinator to join our in-store team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, capable of designing and executing events that drive customer engagement and enhance the shopping experience.

What you will do

Develop and implement event strategies that align with the store's goals and brand imageOversee all aspects of event planning, including concept development, logistics, sourcing vendor partnership, staffing, execution, and administrative duties of tracking of events and paperwork for both in-store and offsite eventsEnsure operational excellence by managing event budgets, schedules, models, rentals, materials, and vendor contracts/partnerships effectivelyCollaborate with store management and key partners to determine event sales goals and integrate events seamlessly into daily functions, maximizing efficiency and customer flowLeverage clientelling tools, partnerships with local influencers to form awareness and promote eventsAnalyze event performance, providing reports on metrics, and making recommendations for improvementsIdentify opportunities within the market calendar and external market area to enhance outreach and drive sales trafficComplete tasks to support event execution, such as picking products and setting up point of sale equipment while following asset protection controls and compliance procedures

 

Who you are

Proven track record in event coordination with a focus on operational excellence within a retail environment.Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple events simultaneouslyExceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Strong analytical and logical thought process and with creative problem-solving skills.Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as event schedules require.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

 

Essential Physical Requirements

Regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking. May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision.Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 lbs.50% Travel due to supporting multiple stores within a market.
