Job Description

37.5 Hours per week.  Monday - Friday. 8:00 - 16:00.

As a Stores Operative you will perform routine tasks in the water testing laboratory ensuring priority tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Unpack boxes and receive samples onto IT System.Label sample bottles, contact and settle platesPrepare AcidPrint DPD labelsPrint and check manifests (before dispatch)Ensure ice packs are readily availableMix, pack and dispatch test soilsPrint test soil paperworkEnsure relevant spreadsheets are kept up to dateTrack boxes in and out of StoresPack boxes (after initial check against manifest)Maintain a clean and tidy workplaceTest Soli RoomPacking/ Dispatch BenchesRemove cardboard/ rubbish from stores areaSweep and MopBook in received stock itemsStock Takes/ Rotation of stockMake up of PPE Kits

QualificationsPrevious experience working within a stores/ dispatch related roleProblem solving and troubleshooting skillsConfident working with a variety IT Systems for example Microsoft Office
