About the role

We have a great opportunity for Stores Persons in our Kerry Agriculture team in our Newmarket store. 

The position is full time, permanent role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.00pm, Saturdays 8.30 to 12.00 Overtime and weekend work are available occasionally..

This role reports to Location Manager. As a Stores Person, you will help our customer, manage stock and help with other store duties. Any experience as a Warehouse Operative, Forklift Driver, Stores Operative, Stock Controller and similar will be advantageous. Full training will be provided.

 

What will you do?

Your responsibilities as a Store Person will include:

 

Serving customers, dealing with customer queries, and dealing with phone queries Managing stock in the store and the yard, stock counting, managing inwards and outwards deliveries Record keeping for stock internal audits Forklift duties - loading and unloading products like animal feeds, fertilizers, store goods and merchandising products Housekeeping within the store and handling of cash Ensuring confidentiality of our Customers is kept at all times Following Health and Safety guidelines. Supporting store manager and other team members What do you need to be successful? Customer care and stores experience Knowledge of agriculture products is desirable Forklift training, manual handling, chemical training will be provided during induction Why join us?
