 Job Summary

 

Working within a warehouse facility, managing the flow and control of material through a combination of receiving, kitting, packing, handling and shipping of goods and equipment to support internal operations and a worldwide customer base.

 

Responsibilities

 

Order Fullfillment (60%) Picking stock, packing goods and preparing ready for dispatch. Receiving new stock, checking and locating onto racking. Use of banding and packing machines. Uploading of upcoming deliveries and placing it in the appropriate areas of the warehouse. Checking shipping and receiving manifests to ensure accuracy Controlling inventory by locating missing material, stocking material, restocking material and checking for damaged material. Administration and Dispatching (40%) Basic office skills including filing, scanning, organising of paperwork, etc. Job related knowledge of internal operating system (JDE/Oracle).

Basic Qualifications

 

Essential: FLT counterbalance license

 

Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing Slinging and lifting certificate.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

 

Based at the Sunderland Site.

 

Key Competencies

Basic knowledge of Export and Import requirements (Europe, non-European) Electric Pallet Truck Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs such as inventory management systems Previous experience of JDE is desirable Structured and organised Good communication skills Working within a team Good interpersonal skills Working in a fast paced environment
