Description
We are seeking self-starter Civil Engineering candidates for our Fort Collins office with good communication, organizational and writing skills, and a strong passion for working with people on multi-disciplinary projects.
The primary responsibilities of the position include supporting the design and analysis of civil water related projects for federal, state and local municipalities. This position will require production of design calculations, technical reports to support design projects, and preparation of construction documents. Primary responsibilities include:
Creating detailed designs of water distribution, sewer collection, stormwater systems, and site civil improvements under instruction from the Project Manager and Project Engineer.Preparing plans/construction drawings for water related and site civil improvements through coordination with CAD staff and within AutoCAD software.Development of technical specifications based on HDR master specifications and client specifications.Preparation of water related design reports with supporting mapping and calculations.Perform construction phase tasks including administration, construction observation and supporting office engineering activities.Coordination with other team members and project manager.Required QualificationsCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program Attention to detailPossess strong problem-solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
