About This RoleTo operate Potable Water and Sewage Treatment Plants thereby providing employees, MKV residents with safe and clean drinking water at potable water treatment plant and the effluent water from the sewage treatment plant compliance to regulatory standards.
In This Role You WillOperations
Undertake day-to-day operational tasks at the Potable/Sewage Treatment plant, ensuring that plant operations are following operating guidelines and that treated water is safe and acceptable before entering the distribution system.Undertake fork truck operations and Load and unload chemical for use.Performs general plant housekeeping.Performs other related duties required from time to time.
Maintenance
Performs routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to include: operating adjustments and calibrations on equipment, basic mechanical and electrical work, lubricating and replacing equipment parts.Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment.Conduct inspection of various section and Make arrangement through Work Orders for the repair to the plant.
Safety Health and Environment
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations)
High School Certificate or Diploma.Valid driver’s license.
Additional Knowledge
Inspection procedures.Basic knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, heating, and electrical systems.Understanding of plant operations and maintenance including pumps, Mixers, valves etc.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in plant operation and treatment system and able to drive good driving record.
