Workday Functional Associate Consultant
Strada partners with clients to enable organizational transformation through the deployment of Workday, a next generation Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solution.
As a Workday Functional Associate Consultant, you will collaborate with customers to transform their workforce experience, improve business processes to meet the needs of a changing world, and implement new technology that empowers organizations to make sustainable decisions.
Workday Functional Associate Consultants play an integral role by working with multiple clients across a wide spectrum of industries and locations to address business challenges and needs while also deploying or providing ongoing Workday support. A typical day can include the following:
Partnering with clients to gather functional requirements, design solutions, and understand their strategic vision
Participating in the delivery of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial solutions, including but not limited to:
Deploying and configuring HCM and Financial solutions for first-time users of Workday
Optimizing solutions and providing ongoing support to existing users of Workday
Leveraging problem solving skills to manage issues and risks
Testing and troubleshooting common business scenarios and requirements to ensure the Workday solution meets client needs
Collaborating with other teams within the organization to improve business processes and solve cross functional issues
Monitoring progress of tasks against a project plan and communicating status updates on key deliverables
Developing communications and training to drive organizational adoption of Workday
Participating in internal Strada initiatives to support innovation and enable continuous career growth
Providing consultation and expertise in one of the following areas (alignment will be determined by business need, interest, and skills):
Human Capital Management (HCM)
Financials
Adaptive Planning
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented
Project management skills
Ability to work and learn independently as well as on a team
Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, computer software, and methodologies
Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
Adaptable and understands that change is constant and necessary to consistently excel
Desire to grow your career as a consultant
Comfortable with MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Open to various majors, but Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), HR Information Systems (HRIS), Finance, Accounting, Psychology, or Information Technology (IT) preferred
1-3 years of relevant work experience AND/OR an advanced professional degree (e.g., Master’s degree)
Experience interacting with clients or customers preferred
