As Strategic Account Executive on the OptumInsight Intersegment team, you will be a growth leader and strategic business consultant for our Optum Care clients. This critical role will focus on driving client interest, engagement and satisfaction with OI solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Build, nurture and grow intimate, consultative relationships with Optum Care clients that drive value for both Optum Care and Optum Insight Leverage your financial acumen, understanding of revenue cycle management and provider business, financial and operating models to understand client needs and design successful solutions Drive outcomes with internal matrix business stakeholders across Optum to ensure customer centricity, high NPS scores and renewal rates, delivery against Optum Care needs and expectations, profitable growth, and representation for the voice of the customer in our current and future products and technologies. Ensure the realization of expected client savings and OI revenue growth goals through performance management, contract renewals, and identification / advancement of upsell opportunities Negotiate renewals, contractual agreements, statements of work, and performance guarantees; serve as liaison with solution design/ contracting / legal / finance

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in a growth, leadership, consultant or related role within the healthcare industry where you have been responsible for driving various KPIs/metrics and growth  3+ years of experience working with ambulatory healthcare providers or in an ambulatory care system  Understanding of provider financial models including both Fee-for-service (FFS) and risk/value-based arrangements Subject matter expertise in provider revenue cycle management Demonstrated success building and evolving relationships with C-suite and matrixed stakeholders  History of leading, influencing and managing direct, indirect, and matrixed teams Proven ability to act as a consultant and partner to clients in understanding their key business challenges & developing solutions based on product portfolio Willing and able to travel up to ~40% of the time based on business need

Preferred Qualifications:

Consulting experience Experience working in Optum Insight or Optum Care Familiarity with different reimbursement models for Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payers  Familiarity with payment integrity solutions Proven excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to build credibility and gain the respect and confidence of clients and internal partners Proven solid relationships across various leadership teams within Optum Care Proven solid strategic planning, analytics, and problem-solving skills

The salary range for this role is $150,200 to $288,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
