The Work You'll Do:

Sovos is the leading provider of modern tax compliance solutions, trusted by half of the Fortune 500 and the world’s most successful companies. As a Strategic Account Executive at Sovos, you’ll drive solutions that are critical to keeping businesses compliant on a global scale—this isn’t a "nice-to-have," it’s a must! Join the sales team of the market leader in cloud tax software and take part in solving the complex compliance challenges that customers face every day.

More specifically, you will:

Generate new business opportunities, manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close, and drive up-sell/cross-sell initiatives. Develop and execute account-based strategies to drive new business and retain existing clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with executive and C-Suite stakeholders. Achieve profitable revenue growth within your territory, consistently exceeding revenue targets and quotas. Manage and grow a balanced pipeline, focusing on consistent year-over-year sales performance in large enterprises. Maintain deep knowledge of the tax compliance industry and understand the evolving competitive landscape. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and insights to support strategic decision-making.

What We Need From You

10+ years of proven success selling SaaS-based or software solutions to large multinational organizations, with experience managing complex sales cycles. Strong prospecting, targeting, and closing skills, with a track record of exceeding revenue quotas. Ability to build relationships and present effectively to C-Suite executives. Analytical mindset, with the ability to define client outcomes and articulate value through data-driven storytelling. Experience creating focus and energy within highly matrixed teams. Willingness to travel for client and prospect meetings, trade shows, and sales team events. Moderate (up to 50%) domestic and international travel for Sovos locations, events, and client meetings. Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check, including drug screen
