Strategic Account Sales Account Executive – Life Sciences Compliance Services

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Sales Executive to drive the growth and expansion of our Life Sciences compliance solutions within the top 50 pharma accounts. This individual will be responsible for upselling both our cutting-edge technology and professional services offerings, focusing on deepening relationships, driving account expansion, and delivering value-added solutions to meet the complex regulatory and compliance needs of large pharmaceutical clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within top 50 pharmaceutical companies, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives.

Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell compliance technology and professional services by leveraging existing relationships, addressing client pain points, and delivering customized solutions.

Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans for each top account, with a focus on long-term growth, account penetration, and value delivery.

Thought Leadership & Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of trends and regulatory changes within the life sciences industry, positioning our company as a thought leader and trusted advisor in compliance services.

Sales Execution: Work closely with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to execute go-to-market strategies and tailor solutions to each account’s needs.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring account revenue targets are met or exceeded.

Collaboration: Collaborate with sales leadership to align on overall business strategy, providing input and insight from the account level to support broader business objectives.

Qualifications:

Experience: 5-7 years of sales experience in the life sciences industry, with a focus on selling compliance technology and/or professional services to large pharmaceutical companies.

Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think strategically and act tactically in complex sales environments, understanding the regulatory landscape and anticipating client needs.

Relationship Building: Exceptional skills in building long-term relationships with high-level decision-makers, including procurement, regulatory affairs, and compliance departments.

Track Record: Demonstrated success in upselling and growing large accounts, with a focus on delivering solutions that drive measurable outcomes for clients.

Communication & Leadership: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of life sciences regulatory compliance, including UDI, eCTD, SPL, and GxP, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SaaS-based compliance solutions.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and global compliance requirements.

MBA or advanced degree in life sciences or business administration.

Experience 5-7 years
