Position Overview
Shaw Commercial is a global design leader in commercial flooring for some of the world’s most creative and innovative environments. Our vast, sustainable product offerings can be found in diverse markets such as workplace, healthcare, hospitality, education and multi-family dwellings; supporting the spaces in which we work, learn, live, play and heal.
The VPSA of A/D position will be responsible for implementing sales strategies for the top A/D firms in the division. This position will call on design principal, studio leads, partners, etc. to increase brand awareness for our commercial brands (Patcraft & Shaw Contract).
Position Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for developing a strategic and accountable plan to prospect, manage and grow market share in the largest A/D Firms.
+ Develop lateral influence within Shaw Industries to implement strategic account plan.
+ Establish relationships, communication, and engagement with sales leadership and salespeople across all brands.
+ Utilize and fully leverage technology and digital sales tools.
+ Continued learning and understanding the complexity of A/D firms by networking (Internally & Externally), attending industry events and trade shows.
+ Work with the DVP of the Southeast, RVPs, Segment and Brand Leaders to help educate and train our salesforce on A/D needs and trends.
+ Promote all product categories and innovative solutions i.e. Sustainability, Design Services, Technology, etc.
+ Collaborate with the VPSA team on Global Strategic Accounts across all segments

Qualifications:
+ A minimum of 5+ years of commercial industry experience working with A/D Firms
+ Must live within the division, in close proximity to a major airport. The Southeast Division encompasses GA, FL, AL, TN, SC, NC, VA, DC and MD.
+ Leadership and lateral influence skills necessary
+ Strong communication skills - Written and Oral
+ Ability to commit to at least 60% travel; especially in the first 12-18 months
Work Shift
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
