Work Type

This is a Hybrid role (8-10 days in office per month) and can be based out of one of our Hub offices located in New York, NY, Loveland, CO, or Fountain Valley, CA.

Job Purpose/Overview

The primary responsibility of the Strategic Accounts Project Coordinator (SAPC) is to provide project and operational coordination to the strategic account team supporting Mars Veterinary Health (MVH). The SAPC is a change agent who is passionate, has high energy, and the desire to drive multi-faceted, complex projects with the goal of delivering value to the sales organization. The SAPC will be accountable for overall projects from initiation to completion, ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and deliver on target milestones. The successful candidate demonstrates project coordination skills utilizing project management tools and processes. The SAPC also helps achieve departmental goals by delivering projects that provide internal functional process and communication efficiencies, ultimately bridging communication between the Strategic Account Representatives (SARs) and internal support functions. This will ensure SAR activities are focused on strengthening partnership with MVH clinics and driving revenue growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain MVH sales project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects

Ensure projects are planned and executed with a defined process and meet quality standards

Develop and maintain a communications plan and keep Strategic Account Managers apprised of project plans and related implications

Maintain a strong understanding of internal communication pathways

Prepare and maintain project documentation, such as, initiation, delivery plans and budgets

Facilitates internal communication and develops processes to efficiently resolve workflow bottlenecks within Antech, with ultimate goal of helping SARs limit inefficiencies and focus on revenue-driving work.

Responsible for maintaining, and nurturing, communication streams with, but not exclusive to, the following internal departments: Billing, HESKA In-House Support Team, Customer Support, Healthtracks, Lab Operations, Professional Service Veterinarians, Project Managers, Antech Imaging, Data Analysts (Salesforce and PowerBI), and Product/Service Managers

Build and maintain relationships with Strategic Account Representatives to foster mutuality

Cultivate and maintain a well-rounded knowledge of the daily operations of the reference laboratory, In-house diagnostics, and Antech Imagining.

Possess strong problem-solving skills but is also able to effectively route issues to the proper personnel for resolution.

May be asked to participate in other initiatives, special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (Animal Health, Biological Sciences, Lab Sciences or Business-related field).

Minimum 1 year project coordination experience in a service industry, preferably Animal or Human Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Sales, or Capital Equipment, is required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician, laboratory technician or medical assistance and/or 2 years of knowledge in Veterinary Diagnostics services is preferred.

Computer skills – Comfortably and confidently uses a computer and specialized software. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, PowerBI, etc.

Ability to understand differences in tests, methodologies and profiles that are offered by Antech reference laboratory and in-house diagnostics.

Ability to understand Antech Imaging services and Sound Technologies

Proven ability to work with internal functional teams

Ability to travel to attend team meetings.

Travel

There will be some travel and overnight stays associated with hospital visits and meetings, up to 15% of the time.

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding.  The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office or virtual environment.  The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.  The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment or a remote home office.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, video conferencing and the Internet.  The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.  The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.   Environment where pets are present

Pay Range & Benefits

The Target Base Pay Range for this position is $57,400 - $71,700 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget. The range may also be adjusted some for geographic location.
