ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hit revenue targets: Strategic Account Representatives are responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue shipment goals for their assigned accounts. They partner with each customer’s leadership to fully support sales/in-store strategies.Manage customer PO book: Responsible for tracking and managing purchase orders (POs) for their assigned accounts. This includes ensuring that POs are accurate, timely, processed, and shipped promptly, with supply challenges and backorders communicated to the customer.Represent Callaway: Build strong customer relationships with buyers, planners, store managers, and retail associates. Communicate all product intros/promos/pricing changes to customer teams.Account program coordination: Maintain any existing customer-specific product programs, IT programs, EDI programs, DC initiatives, and more that streamline operations and generate more account revenue. Represent customer needs and Callaway sales in each instance.Optimize inventory: Work with various stakeholders to ensure that Callaway has the right amount of inventory in the right places to meet customer demand and communicate lead times to customers.Communicate with Sales Leadership: Present each month to sales leadership account revenue results, supply shortcomings, competitive information, and any challenges/opportunities. Also, continuously communicate all qualitative info regarding competitive launches and promotional activity, Callaway product performance.Organize account information: Maintain comprehensive customer lists, including store lists, fitting component/demo lists, product lists, advocate lists, new doors opening schedules, event needs, etc.Launch with Excellence: Each Strategic Account Representative plays a significant role in the new product launch cycle – creating agendas, booking meetings, and handling day-of-logistics for customer product introductions. They also execute new item setups, obtain customer launch POs, and communicate quantity/timing needs to supply. They oversee all new stock and demo products arriving at the store in time for launch.Events/Travel: Required to travel and participate in customer meetings and events, locally and out of town. These events include pre-lines, QBRs, planning meetings, new door openings, managers’ meetings, CMF events, and general store visits.Provide excellent customer service: Strategic Account Representatives are responsible for providing excellent customer service. This includes responding to customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues, and providing training and support on products and services.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

High-energy individual with strong multi-tasking and relationship-building skills.Strong knowledge of Retail Sales Operations and Retail performance metrics.Strong knowledge of internal processes and policies.Exceptional communication skills and ability to present to all levels.Highly assessed phone skills.Ability to immediately become a product expert (past and present) in assigned categories.Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Golf industry experience preferred.3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.Excellent communication and people skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
