In this role, you will work collaboratively across the division to guide data-driven progress towards goals and strategic priorities by supporting a focus on data-driven decisions, innovation, and prioritization. You will work collaboratively to manage cross-team recurring processes requiring input and action from both internal and external partners.
What You Will Do
Play a supporting role in divisional and inter-divisional planning processes to advocate for the priorities, needs, and outputs of the Diversified Business Group.Participate in running process focused on divisional planning & performance needs including leadership reporting on goals and priorities in executive governance forums (e.g., Blue Cross NC Board of Directors, DBG Asset Board of Directors).Assist with driving accountability towards measurable and actionable short- and long-term goals for both the division and the platform of diversified assets.Provide project management support of existing and to-be-built processes to support divisional planning & asset performance monitoring.Evaluate data, including business financials, to produce insights that prompt thoughtful questions and create visibility into areas for strategic development or operational improvement.What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)0-2 years of experience in related fieldIn lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related fieldBonus Points (preferred qualifications)
Experience in strategic planning, corporate transformation/process improvement, project management and/or financial planning & analysis strongly preferred.Strong critical thinking and communication skills.Strong organizational skills including prioritization and time management skills, organizing tasks to insure timely completion.Strong attention to detail: demonstrated experience with tracking work and projects to ensure all aspects are precise and correct.Effective collaboration skills: demonstrated experience working effectively with team members and other stakeholders and cross-functional partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.Healthcare industry experience – including through coursework.Experience with business analytics tools.What You’ll Get

Salary Range
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
