Strategic Business Controller

Based in the bustling city of Maputo, Mozambique, this role offers an opportunity to be at the heart of our Finance and Business Control function.

 

As the Strategic Business Controller, you will be the right-hand person to the FD and a business partner for the OpCo management team to facilitate effective business decisions and optimal resource allocation within the OpCo.

 

Your key role & responsibilities:

Coordinates the OpCo Heineken Governance Cycle (Strategic Plan, Annual Plan, Quarterly Performance Review, Monthly Business Performance Review, etc.) Business performance management to ensure alignment with these strategic goals and plans. Drive the Rolling Forecast cycle and cashflow forecasting including improvement initiatives to effectively manage cash position of the business. Providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making including preparation of business cases for strategic projects/initiatives Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency. Build capability of the local Business Control team

 

Qualifications and competencies:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, master’s degree is an added advantage At least 10 years working experience in controlling, accounting, and reporting, preferably within at Heineken Fluent in English, Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills People development and coaching Project Management
