Your role and responsibilitiesBusiness development: Under the leadership of local division management, lead sales strategic initiative to grow our System Drives sales in Canada. Supports the Motion Canada Sales Organization/partners/customers in determining the most appropriate solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers. Provides technical and commercial support, product presentations and negotiations and offers product/ solution/service-related training. Develop strategic growth plan for existing and new potential partners and customers.Offer preparation: Supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives. Costs Definition: Defines market price levels for the proposed solution and communicates to Sales organization.Risk review: When applicable, provides information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment.Competitive analysis : Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization. Understand and communicate key market segment trends (ex. Energy sectors, COG, Mining and Minerals).
Qualifications for the roleBachelor/collegial’ s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.Additional certifications in sales management, strategic planning, or related areas can be beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and proposals in French and English (bilingual). French required. English is required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis. Ability to travel (approximately 20% of time, mainly in Canada).Experience in strategic sales planning, including market analysis, competitor analysis, and developing sales strategies.Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
