Strategic Business Development Manager
Organization & Role Teradyne’s memory test business has grown dramatically over the past 5-10 years in revenue, market share and profitability, and there are abundant opportunities to continue this growth trajectory over next several years. Furthermore, the memory market itself is growing, fueled by a strong, long-term secular demand trend for Big Data. Our key to success will be continued investment into development, ramp and sustaining of multiple new products in parallel. Our growth to date is due primarily to the invention and market adoption of gamechanger products using the latest ASIC and memory system integration technology to deliver superior value to our customers than the competitors. Setting us further apart, our Magnum memory test platform achieved all this value within a single platform that evolved and is still evolving over time. Responsibilities As the Field Product Specialist for our Memory Business in South Korea, you will have opportunities to work with other Nextest Product Managers and Korea Customer team in support existing business and develop new business opportunities for our memory test business in South Korea. In this role you will: + Be a key part of the sales process, design-in opportunities, and other customer facing engagements, especially new product promotion and new design-in opportunities for our memory test platform. + Communicate platform value proposition and product differentiation to Sales Team and customers. + Identify customer needs, short-term and long-term. + Provide technical direction to the product roadmap. + Communicate customer feedback internally to enhance existing products. + Develop marketing tools for successful product introductions. + Assess market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. + Contribute to market research, monitor competitive activity. Basic Qualifications & Skills + 10+ years of experience in NAND, DRAM and/or high-speed memory industry including knowledge of one or more of the followings: ONFI/Toggle NAND, DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, HBM, MRAM, ReRAM + Technical knowledge of semiconductor automated test equipment (ATE), for example as product, test, or applications engineer + Demonstrated customer credibility and relationship building experience + Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally across departments sales, engineering, finance + Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking ability + Strategic thinking, planning and execution + Fluent in both Korean and English Education + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a strong business background. #LI-SJ1 Current openings may involve access to export controlled technology and may be subject to export licensing requirements prior to employment.
