If you really want to make a difference – make it with us

Siemens Mobility is a separately managed company of Siemens AG and has been a leading supplier in the field of mobility for over 160 years. Our core business includes rail vehicles, rail automation and electrification solutions, turnkey systems and related services. We have always been very innovative in making traveling faster, safer and more comfortable. Today, we need new solutions to new challenges such as climate change and rising populations worldwide. That's what drives us. That's why we shape mobility with passion, always being one step ahead. Through digitalization, we make infrastructures smart and create opportunities that get us from A to B sustainably and seamlessly. Our 39,800 employees are pioneers in mobility who help to keep the world moving.

What do you contribute?

Your path will lead you to our Strategy, Digitalization and Technology (SDT) team, which is actively shaping the future of rail transport technology (e.g. through artificial intelligence, digitalization and data strategy, Siemens Xcelerator, autonomous trains, etc.).

In your new role, you will act as an interface between our SDT Leadership Team, our Business Units (BUs) and our Communications (CC) department. You will initiate and manage cross-departmental communication activities for SDT-led and cross-divisional topics. In close cooperation with CC, our BUs and our SDT Leadership Team, you will actively support the planning and organization of content strategies for e.g. trade fairs (InnoTrans), customer events and internal events. You will also support editorial planning and ensure that consistent messages are guaranteed.  Last but not least, you will also create content yourself, e.g. technology-specific keynote speeches, positioning / whitepapers and articles.

What do you bring along?

You have successfully completed a degree (Bachelor) in innovation/technology communication, digital communication or a comparable field. In addition, you have already gained several years of professional experience in content management / project management related to the rail / mobility world and are characterized by a high level of interest in technology and digital transformation. You have a strong affinity for interdisciplinary collaboration at all levels of the organization. You are familiar with communication and (executive) editorial planning and have already created keynote presentations, whitepapers and developed new innovative formats to demonstrate the value of technology. Fluent English and ideally good German skills complete your profile.
