Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies.The work model for the role is: remoteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in North America.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeads the development and implementation of the strategic contractor account plan for the IBC South Region and sets a Statement of Work (SoW) for growth actions. Coordinates the Signature Contractor program within the South Region. •\tParticipates in the development of sales strategies for the strategic contractor account through providing current and long-term business plans for the customer.•\tResponsible for coordinating all NECA and other relevant industry events in the South Region and working with the Regional Vice President for coverage of the events•\tDeeply understands customers’ needs and facilitates comprehensive ABB solutions, while being mindful of volume, mix, and profitability targets, representing ABB, overall.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Marketing related degree is a plus.Strong understanding of the Electrification products and experience with quoting projects for contractors.Minimum 12 years of experience within the industry. Experience with working with contractors and distributors in the Southeast U.S. and Texas is a plus.Experience in conducting market analysis and business development plans with solid structured approach.Experience with working with electrical contactors, distributors and channel partners.Technical background, experience in the automotive market preferred.Willingness to travel as needed. Preferred base location would be in Texas or the Southeast U.S. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
