Strategic Deal Desk Team Lead Summary:

As Strategic Deal Desk Team Lead you will work closely with sales teams to ensure we transact business to meet both the needs of our customers as well as Delinea’s organizational objectives. As well as providing commercial and transactional support throughout the sales process, you will help coordinate the efforts of the deal desk team to ensure work is done efficiently and effectively. As well as run-the-business activities, we are also seeking someone who can help drive change and improvement in Delinea’s processes; knowing “what good looks like” and being able to drive change are therefore key requisites.

As part of the global sales operations team, you will also contribute to other areas of the business and be involved in broader sales-related projects.

What You'll Do:

Act as team lead to coordinate the day-to-day operations of Delinea’s Strategic Deal Desk team.

Work cross-functionally to ensure appropriate resources are allocated and prioritized to close business.

Assist in drafting commercial terms and structuring complex deals.

Define and co-ordinate projects with IT/Systems to drive continuous process and technology improvement.

Manage approval workflows, be the single point of contact for sales in completing approvals.

Create and support sales with Ironclad workflows, align and collaborate with legal teams.

Support order correction process as per Delinea policies.

Participate in forecast calls to support the commercial team as per business requirements.

Partner with other team members on quote-to-cash process improvements

Develop and deliver systems and process enablement for the sales teams.

What You'll Bring:

Solid understanding of a typical sales cycle within a SAAS organization.

Experience in creating and working with a large volume of quotes.

Experience working as part of a sales operations team within a SAAS company.

Good understanding of products and licensing, SKUs and sales operations processes.

Team leader / people management experience.

Prior deal desk, sales operations, order management or contracts management experience. Strong business acumen required.

Must be a self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships with other functions.

Detail oriented, energetic professional who is a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Salesforce.com, CPQ and standard technologies (Microsoft suite).

Accurate and efficient approach to deal reviews, stakeholder discussions, and completing tasks quickly; extremely strong attention to detail.

Demonstrable good judgment in solving problems, as well as proactively identifying and advancing solutions to operational challenges.

Outgoing and comfortable building cross-functional relationships
