Guggenheim is seeking an exceptional, analytical, and highly motivated individual to join Guggenheim Investments’ Strategic Finance team. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role based in Guggenheim’s New York office that provides broad exposure to all financial aspects of the business and supports key initiatives across the firm. This role will report to the Head of Strategic Finance.
Essential Job Functions• Build and maintain long range financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic planning, valuation, and capital needs
• Dive into a wide array of analytics, including business/product/fund-level profitability, growth initiatives, and financial metrics
• Create compelling presentations, reports, and analytics for CFO and senior management to enhance financial visibility and insights into business performance
• Support all aspects of transaction due diligence
• Manage, support, and execute a diverse array of special projects requiring cross-functional collaboration
• Continuously improve and standardize existing infrastructure by systematically identifying opportunities to streamline operational processes, optimize workflows, automate manual tasks, and enhance data integrity
• Potential to assume additional responsibilities as the team and business grow and evolve over time
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, experience managing and supporting complex projects, and strong ability to execute and rapidly iterate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
• Demonstrated analytical and technical acumen, with robust understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, and accounting principles
• Rock-solid Excel skills to build dynamic, efficient, and intuitive financial models and work with large data sets
• Rigorous analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to successfully navigate varying degrees of ambiguity with minimal guidance
• Exceptional execution skills to tackle open-ended projects, impose structure, and identify and methodically resolve roadblocks with limited oversight
• Extraordinary attention to detail while maintaining big picture perspective to connect the dots across insights and initiatives
• Ownership mindset, resourcefulness, and commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality work product
• Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize and clearly articulate messages that link financial results and business issues at the executive level
• 5+ years experience in Big 4 Consulting/Accounting, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or similar roles
• Prior asset management industry experience is desirable
Annual base salary between $140,000 to $150,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
