Our Strategic Growth team is the face of the company and the engine of our market expansion. As a Strategic Growth Associate (SGA), you are directly responsible for driving net-new pipeline for our Strategic Growth Team. In its simplest form, the SGA’s role is to educate the Compass Agent Community on the benefits and importance of contributing to the Strategic Growth of Compass in a variety of ways. Through the likes of our Demand Generation efforts you will work to facilitate conversations between prospective agents who have raised their hand or simply have engaged with Compass marketing content and our Strategic Growth Manager’s to further explore the possibility of a Compass Partnership.

ROLE SPECIFICS

Outreach directly into prospective agents who expressed interest through one of our inbound channels (website, paid social, email, webinars, etc.) that fit our ideal persona. Lead Qualification: Engage with inbound leads promptly and professionally, conducting in-depth conversations to understand their qualifications, motivations, pain points, and alignment with Compass's value proposition.  Utilize active listening and probing questions to identify the lead's specific needs and expectations. Collaboration: Help build compelling outreach templates by collaborating with the demand generation team lead. Webinar Outreach: Proactively reach out to webinar registrants and attendees, providing additional information and addressing any questions or concerns related to the webinar content. Articulate our value prop and objection handle to create qualified opportunities in your market Data Enrichment: Capture key information in our CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for seamless handoff to the sales team. Lead Nurturing: Maintain ongoing communication with warm leads, providing relevant information and addressing any questions or concerns. Sales Enablement: Collaborate with Strategic Growth Managers to ensure qualified leads are well-prepared for further engagement. Process Optimization: Contribute to the ongoing refinement of lead qualification processes and criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience with history of strong performance (SDR, Marketing, Demand Generation, Outreach Campaigns, Customer Success/Service, Direct Sales, Account Management) Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills, glass-half-full mentality, natural leader Highly organized; ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously Track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail-demanding functional responsibilities Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively. Active Listening: Proven ability to understand and interpret customer needs. Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to identify qualified opportunities. CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software (Salesforce) to manage and track leads. Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Marketing Experience: Familiarity with marketing automation tools, lead nurturing strategies, and demand generation tactics is a plus.

Compensation:  

The salary pay range for this position is a base pay of $67,500 to $75,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
