Responsibilities + What You'll Do: + We are looking for a Senior Program Analyst to support the Director of Strategic Planning and Initiatives. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the program's roadmap, Program Objectives Memorandum (POM), and strategic initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to ensure the program's objectives are met and aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in driving the program's long-term success by providing strategic insights and ensuring effective planning and execution. This is a full time “on-site” position located at Patuxent River Air Naval Station as part of the Field Effects Deployment Office (FXDO), PMA-201. + Key Responsibilities: + Develop and maintain the program roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the program's long-term strategic goals and objectives. + Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives, milestones, and deliverables. + Monitor and report on roadmap progress, making recommendations for adjustments as needed. + Develop and maintain the program roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the program's long-term strategic goals and objectives. + Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives, milestones, and deliverables. + Coordinate the development, submission, and management of the Program Objectives Memorandum (POM), ensuring compliance with organizational and governmental requirements. + Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, validate data, and ensure accuracy and completeness of the POM. + Track and analyze POM performance, providing insights and recommendations for future POM cycles. + Conduct comprehensive strategic analysis to support program decision-making + Develop and present strategic plans and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. + Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to the program's strategic initiatives, providing actionable insights for mitigation and enhancement. + Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments, partners, and government agencies. + Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization. + Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather input, share progress, and drive consensus on strategic initiatives. + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of roadmap development, POM management, and strategic planning. + Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes that may impact the program. + Mentor and develop junior analysts and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. + With at least 25% travel requirements.
