Strategic Initiatives Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for scoping and delivering complex strategic initiatives from planning through execution.

You will work backward from customer success outcome, collaborating with the field teams to understand and prioritize customers’ needs and success enablers. You will apply data-driven approaches to validate this understanding, deep problem-solving skills to evaluate the opportunities, and simplify complexity to develop rapidly scale-able programs and mechanisms.

You will be working closely with our Professional Services, Business Development, Partner, Sales, Solution Architecture, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Legal and the Program team to build the capabilities to accelerate customers’ migrations to AWS. You must be comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic organization, as the program will have inter-dependencies with other teams within AWS.

The right candidate will bring strong outbound operations experience defining, planning and delivering enterprise-level transformation programs, and proven track record of delivering insights and creating new mechanisms to efficiently track and enhance business performance.

Being able to translate your skill-sets into a fast-moving, data & metrics-biased, result-oriented Amazon culture, and operating effectively in the cross-functional environment is key to your success in the role.

You also must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
