**What Is the Opportunity?**
The Travelers Canada Internship Program provides qualified students with an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and learn more about the growing surety market in Canada. Interns receive challenging work assignments that add value and impact the organization.
**What Will You Do?**
Opportunity to contribute to real-world projects that impact business strategy.
Learn about the surety industry and interact with a variety of talented leaders from the organization.
Provide strategic project support that could include:
+ assist in market research on industry trends, competitor analysis and emerging opportunities in the surety industry.
+ Conduct data analysis to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
+ Support the development of presentations and reports for senior leadership.
Support communication and stakeholder engagement:
+ Prepare presentations, reports, and education materials for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Coordinate meetings and perform general administrative tasks to support various initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
**What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?**
+ Students who are serious about entering the insurance industry are preferred.
+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
+ Students completing their 3rd or 4th year working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, and Insurance are preferred.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Power Point and Excel functions.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ A strategic mindset, resourcefulness and strong analytical skills.
+ Detail oriented.
+ Able to work independently and as part of a team.
**What is a Must Have?**
+ Must be pursuing post-secondary degree.
+ Legally eligible to work in Canada.
