Strategic Insights Associate

 

We are currently looking for a motivated talent to join JTI GreCyMa as a Strategic Insights Associate, based in Athens. 

 

The role's main purpose is to actively contribute to business growth and success by delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely data reporting, generating actionable insights, and supporting the development of strategic plans to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.

 

Position

 

As a Strategic Insights Associate, you will: 
 
•    Be responsible for maintenance, validation and accuracy of all Strategic Insights (SI) data sources (i.e. Nielsen/RAI Retail Audit, product profiles, mapping etc.) in all internal and external databases (CDB, Tracker, One Data etc.)
•    Prepare and update weekly and monthly reporting templates (Market Overview, Brand Boards, CFO Memo, Market Coverage), share key insights with stakeholders promptly and accurately.
•    Support SI & Conventional Tobacco Products (CTP) team with ad hoc projects, tasks and deep dive analyses, and provide recommendations under the SI Lead guidance.
•    Actively participate in ad hoc research studies design and preparation of materials & deliverables.
•    Be responsible for all SI contracts uploading process (CLT), PR/PO creation & GRs in a timely and accurate manner.

 

Within 6 months, you will:

 

•    Gain understanding on retail audit data specificities and key category trends, challenges and opportunities within the nicotine universe. 
•    Monitor and analyze market changes and competitor activities (pricing movements, promo, new launches etc). 
•    Conduct basic ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities for achieving CTP Share Of Market targets

 

Requirements:
 
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Management, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
•    Fluency in both English and Greek.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and advanced critical thinking skills
•    Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Keen attention to detail.
•    Demonstrated motivation to initiate and complete tasks with a strong focus on delivery.
•    Curiosity, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
•    Experience in research methodologies is considered as a plus.
