Strategic Insights Specialist, Caucasus

Position Overview:

The role involves providing strategic insights on market and all tobacco categories based on consumer and marketing research data, as well as long-term forecasting (Market Modelling) and carrying out customized analysis to support portfolio, brand, trade, and distribution strategies for Caucasus cluster. Incumbent will also manage research projects and the relationship with research agencies for allocated initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Market modelling execution within planning cycles/business reviews (A&SP, LEs and business updates) based on new available market data and provided inputs to ensure its accuracy over time Reporting maintenance on monthly basis: RA reporting, IMS (In-Market Sales) reporting, Pricing update, other local reporting execution, market data submission. Creating automation tools to optimize routine data management tasks Providing customized analysis and actionable recommendations upon requests based on available commercial data for informed business decision making On-going & ad-hoc consumer and trade research maintenance Manage collaboration with external market research agencies/providers to be ensure that we have reliable market data in timely manner Administrative support: document flow, approvals in relevant systems and ensure full compliance with the Company’s standards

 

Requirements:

University degree (preferable marketing, economics, statistics background) 3 years relevant experience in FMCG sector (Marketing, Strategic Insights or similar functions) Proven experience in working in cross-functional / cross-country projects and teams Fluency in English. Russian is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good attention to details Good communication and presentation skills Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and industry trends Good understanding of market research methodologies, consumer trends monitoring, competitive intelligence Ability to manage data, perform analysis, uncover the insights Advanced Excel, Power Point, Power BI knowledge
